Applying for a Place 

Merriott Primary School follows the admissions arrangements of the Quantock Education Trust.

Children are eligible to start school in the September of the academic year in which they turn five years old.

Applications for admission to Reception should be made through Somerset Council. Apply online via:

If you are looking for a school place during the academic year, an application can be made directly through the school.

We recommend contacting the school office in the first instance to discuss availability within the relevant year group and to arrange a visit.
